urgh, screw this!

stupid me, made a mistake, so the blog I just wrote is gone...sux!

well, so here is the short version

Australia is not happening, no more hardcore AIESEC, a lil sad, a lil relieved...at least Matt cant say I didnt try ;) Reasons why: 1. I wasnt able to go there for natl. planing (may 20th), 2. in the end my fickleness (applying, withdrawing, applying again) kicked me out, BUT:

Yesterday I had a talk with some ppl who studied with me/are studying with me. Job situation here is soo bad. I need to get a job ASAP. So if Korea doesnt work out and I dont find a SUPERCOOL AIESEC traineeship, then I will start serious job hunting! *sigh* wish me luck for Korea!

How I hate it, there is soo much to see in this world, I wish I would win the lottery and could just forget about all responsibilities! (ok I should shut up lol I have been doing the things I wanted for the last 8 years)...duh!

what did I do today?
1. chatted with my friends for an hour
2. wrote an application P&G
3. worked on the project management manual, talked to the guy who is working on it with me...we both are a lil wondering if we will finish until tomorrow...wish us luck!

Hmm, anything else I need luck for?....oh yeah, meeting with my prof regarding my thesis next week...and of course (following Tanveer's advice): Finding the man of my dreams to finally settle down ;) hehe...

NO Australia - the lost blog!

Ok, got the mail from Mei (MCP Australia): I am not going to Australia. No more AIESEC (well, not hardcore AIESEC)..hmm..how do I feel..a lil sad, a lil relieved..not very down, I had a long talk with friends last night about our job situation here in Germany...I think going to Korea for 4 months is ok, but I think after that its better to find a job ASAP! I have to think about the future...having my own apt, saving some money, my car is already 11 years and I dont know how much longer its going to live...eek, I hate growing up! There is sooo much to see in the world, I want to go and explore...but I need to be responsible! *sigh*

Please wish me luck for Korea. My hopes arent very high. I think they look for economists...eeek! And I am "only" a business student ;)

So, what else happend today...got up at 10 AM (seems late, but I only slept at around 4 AM....)...had some breakfast, looked for other places where I can apply...P&G seems interesting, if I can get in, I want to work in one of those big ass global players for a while...to learn..and then see where I am heading, maybe I will get tired of working one day (if you are born a workoholic, are you able to change?!)...then I worked on the project management manual, it should be done tomorrow evening, hope I can finish...wish me luck for that too...lol, seems like I need a lotta luck :)

Cheerio,
jen

How to change a battery....

1. Breakfast with mom again.
2. Worked on the project management manual.
3. Dad taught me how to change a battery, now I can drive again! *wroom, wroom*
4. Went to Mainz to meet my LC! Cool to see everyone and hear what they have been up to! Got home at 1 AM.

Cool things that happend:

back in my German LC

After finishing up with the T-Shirt design and having lunch with my bro and mom I lazed around for a bit, and then headed to school. Where I met last year's LCP and some new members! It's weird not knowing who's in the LC! And they moved everything in the office. Looks so different! A lot bigger! And I saw all the trainee photos on the wall, and there is only one girl I know (wow, Anne has been here FOREVER it seems!!!)....cant wait to meet the other trainees. We will prolly go sightseeing in Frankfurt on Saturday!

In the evening I met Christina. Its soo cool that she is here right now (she is living in Switzerland now). Seems like she is geting married to next year! Crazy! Soo much to talk about! - Yet, life didnt want us to. It turned out that the battery in my car died, and so my dad had to come and help me get it started and I had to go home :( So I had to cancel all the other plans for the evening and didnt even get to talk to her a lot! *sigh* But as she said: At least we saw each other (it had been 8 months).

And actually it was good that I went home, I was really tired and totally crashed when I got home....zzzZZZZZ

Family ties & T-Shirts

Its good to be back in Germany. Sad to see nothing changed regarding my family. But oh well, what did I expect?
LIFE LESSON1: You cant run away from your problems.

I finally admitted something to myself that I knew for a long time: I look more like my dad, but I AM more like my mom. Good my temper isnt AS bad, but still I am not happy about myself sometimes. I need to work on my self control *sigh* I wish I was more laid back, but then I would be less passionate about the things I like...and I wouldnt want that either, even though then it would be less difficult.

Interview regarding MC Australia:
I had the feeling it went pretty well, BUT: They want me there for a national conference on May 20th and I cant make that...well I am pretty sure I cant. Need to work on my thesis first..*sigh* will see. Australia would be awesome. And it would be MC VP OGX! Thats cooooool!

Next 70 minutes: Working on a T-shirt design for AIESEC Victoria! its all about the LEGACY, dude! lol

title looks odd....KIMCHIIN KIM CHIIN KI M CHI IN.... :D

hey, the title for this blog looks funnnniii...and maybe I shouldnt have called it "Kimchi in Germany", cause I know no one will call me that from now on...but its for the good old times lol

Well, so whats going on?
1. Future=big mess: Korea or Australia or what?
2. Family=bigger mess
3. Room=biggest mess out of all! Eeek, I need some serious cleaning up!

To do for this week:
- Send out paper to DAAD for the funds I received before I was leaving.
- Send out the medical receipts (maybe I can get some money back).
- Finish taxes (CAN) and mail them.
- Visit my grandpa
- Meet my friends (Christina R. is in town, will go and see her tonight...if I am not too tired..zzzZZZZZ
- See my friend's babies!
- Start working on my thesis!
- Get some photos developed, BIG and get frames!
- Redecorate my room (want to put up the kick ass Canadian flag I got for my good bye)!

and more stuff...I cant think of right now, cause I am sleeeepy....
