A new life!

Wow, I am starting to build a whole new life! Very interesting, finally I am trying to start all the things I always wanted to do. Also a lot of cool things happend today...

1. Work: Chaired a meeting. Went well and was totally fun. Then I heard the awesome news: A good friend of mine will have an interview at my company...NEXT MONDAY!!! *woot woot*

2. Animal shelter: After I got there too late yesterday I went there again today. And I was on time, so I got the chance to walk a dog. He wasnt very pretty and his teeth were bad, but he was well trained and it was totally fun. I enjoyed the fresh air and all. After that I still had 15 min until they were closing and I was playing with some cats. They were really sweet and I seriously started to think about taking one home...no worries, most likely I wont ;)

3. Gym: I called the gym a friend recommended and I have an appointment tomorrow night.

4. Riding classes: I called a place and they said I could start within a few weeks, but when I told her that I have weight problems she didnt sound so nice anymore. Its just that after not excersicing for years I am worried I wont even get ON the horse...haha...seriously you need muscles in your leg...so I think I will start with the gym and then visit the riding place in a couple of months.

5. Dinner: Made myself yummy dinner. Chicken Cordon-Bleu with Tomatoes and Basil!

6. My last day as an intern: Tomorrow is my last day as an intern. It will be great (I assume ;) And its tradition to bring something to work on the last day, so I will bake some muffins...even though its already 8:15 PM and I dont feel like it, but I should. Especially as I bought TONS of ingredients as I couldnt decide what kind I want to bake....oh well..its 8:40 PM...I should better get going ;)

Cheerio to the world!

After midnight...

Awww, I feel so bad that I didnt blog and yet so happy that I know you guys care about me and my life.

1. Work: Its amazing. People are really nice. I learn so much every day and time is flying. I cant believe the 1st month ist almost over. Especially as I have 2 days of vacation next week. Yay! Bf might come and stay for a week, if he can....being with someone like M. is NOT normal at all ;) But then a friend said (cheers, Oli): "A normal bf wouldnt match you!" HAHA...nice friends I have, eh?

2. Language courses: Its so stupid. There is no Japanese or Korean class in this city. There is a Japanese class in a close by town, but I called them and they said that probably my Japanese skills are too high for the course. So all I will do for now is go for an English exam which is offered by the company. I miss speaking English. Hope it will be different at my new department. After all I am in int advertising (but a lot of the employees in our branch offices speak German I am afraid - WHY??? Who needs German anyways??? lol).

3. Friends: My colleagues from the management-program are def. fun. We start to bond and thats cool. After all its not THAT easy to be in a new town. Also R. and C. will come to visit this weekend. Will be fun to have part of the old MZ crowd at my new place. Pat (who grew up here, and who I got to know cause I sent her a random email - I am nuts, I know) will also come over with her bf. Havent seen her for almost a month I think. Cant wait to hear her news.

4. Bro: My lil bro left for Canada. It seems like his new roomie is pretty cool and I hope he will have a kick ass time. I just talked to him on the phone and he just arrived on monday, but when talking to him he was almost out the door to go clubbin. Have fun, lil one! Rock the house, yo! lol

5. Appartment: Still didnt decide which color the covers of the kitchen furniture (thats pretty bad English, eh?) should have. So hard to decide. But I cant buy them before Sept. 1st, so I still have a week ;) Also didnt decide about the living room closet and still have cloths in a big suitcase. But its coming along...actually my plan was to do more cleaning up and unpacking tonight, but then I ended up talking to my mom, my bro and some friends on the phone. When I hang up it was already close to 1 AM ;)

And now my "Thank god list" for today....

Thank you
....for telephones!
....for family!
....for friends!
....for life!
....for love (even though it really sux sometimes)!
....books
....Korea
....sunrise
....chocolate
....laughter/humor
....health! (this should be one of the top 5 actually)

I wonder why its sometimes so hard to realize what we have and how wonderful life is. My grandpa called me today and said he was ready too die. Actually he is longing to die, cause he is in a lot of pain. He said he doesnt want to be a burden. But its just natural that we receive help from the ones he supported when we were younger. Its give and take, eh? I really love my grandpa a lot and I wish things werent as they are, and I wish I wouldnt live 600 km away from him (which is a big distance in a country like Germany ;) Sometimes I wonder if he knows how much I love him. And sometimes I am mad at myself that I dont make sure he knows.

If you read this part you should take a min and think about the 5 most important people in your life. Then pick up the phone, open your mail program or send them a text message (cell)...and let them know. A lot of people said it before me: Do it, before its too late.

Cheers,
Jen :)

PS: Wonder if this last paragraph just happend cause I am getting older = wiser (?!) haha!
